The Arts Career Design Studio is a cohort-based, two day intensive program for undergraduate Arts students across all majors and year levels. Participants will learn tools to design a meaningful path through their Arts degree and think about life after graduation; develop the skills to conduct an effective job search; practice telling their story verbally and in writing; and have the opportunity to meet with professionals employed in various industries.
This program will take place in-person at multiple locations in downtown Vancouver: the workshops will be held at UBC’s Robson Square campus, and the meetings with professionals will be held at their workplaces. Given space constraints as well as the level of coordination that it requires to plan this off-campus program, we kindly request that you register to participate in this program by Sunday, November 3.
Students are strongly encouraged to attend the full Studio program, and those who do participate in the full series will be recognized with a document showing that they have completed an intensive professional development program.
“I appreciated the invaluable opportunity to connect with such remarkable individuals through the Studio. The insights shared and connections made over those two days have been incredibly enriching.”
