Empathetic, hard-working, and a tad stubborn
What extracurricular activities have you been involved with (UBC related or not)?
Since high school I have been apart of a youth mental health program called Here4peers. Through this program I have given mental health workshops to elementary school kids and have trained many incoming facilitators. And now, through university, I have become an alumni mentor. I facilitate mental health workshops and training sessions.
And in my spare time I love to dance, both in ballet and contemporary.
What is your best study strategy/tip?
Plan ahead. I think knowing what is due and when is the key to succeeding in university. And going off that, read your syllabuses and keep track of those due dates.
If you could travel back in time to your first year at UBC, what is one thing you would do differently?
Be more involved in campus life. Not only participate in clubs and such, but also attending campus events.
